Dusty's Rescue

Dusty is an indoor cat cared for by a sweet 11 year-old girl.  She (Dusty) snuck outside and got scared 55 feet up a neighbors sweet gum tree.  Because Dusty's tree was on the small side, I climbed an adjacent tree and pulled myself over to Dusty, who was eagerly and vocally awaiting my arrival.  Part way through the video you'll see the classic tree climber's mistake I made. But don't worry - all was well and I was able to safely return Dusty to the loving arms of her sister-mom.  Dusty was my 50th rescue!
