Halo needed rescuing from his
50 foot perch high in a strong loblolly pine. I got him down just as
the sun began to set. The tree Halo decided to climb was on the land of the Pickard Mountain Eco Institute.
I really enjoyed learning about the institute from Halo's "Mom" and
hope to take my family back some summer day for one of their community
potluck dinners
The new ladder leaning against the tree represents his owner's $325 attempt to help Halo down on her own. Fortunately, she can take the ladder back for a full refund!
