Apparently Yolo wanted to spy on Santa and
Rudolph this Christmas Eve from outside, not inside. The problem was
once he got up in the tree he realized he couldn't get down. Yolo's owner had been up until 1am Christmas morning trying to coax Yolo down. I got the call mid-morning on Christmas day and when
I arrived Yolo was about 60 feet up in this oak. Yolo was the easiest
rescue I have ever done because as I climbed up to him, he climbed down
about 20 feet to a spot where I could easily make the grab and then
lower him to his relieved family. Later that day, family was scheduled
to visit for Christmas and having Yolo safely in the house added to the
joy of the season.
